Cayla's Bio:
Cayla K. Schneider has been a practicing Special Education teacher for over 20 years. She is a member of The Association of Educational Therapists and the California Association of Resource Specialists. Cayla trained in the field of Special Education under the late Sally L. Smith at the American University in Washington, D.C. where she received her B.A. in Elementary Education and her M.Ed. in Special Education; Learning Disabilities.
In addition, Cayla earned her M.A. in Curriculum and Supervision at Point Loma College, Pasadena. She has been a Special Education Teacher, Resource Specialist, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Inclusion Facilitator and served as a Professional Expert for Intervention working with "at risk" Elementary School students. Currently, Cayla is the Resource Specialist for Valley Charter School in Los Angeles, CA.
